Yassmin of Yassart is an illustrator, content creator and creative jack-of-all-trades. She enjoys various creative activities on YouTube. One of these activities is also digital drawing and during this edition of Kreadoe she shares all her tips and tricks about digital drawing with you.

Yassmin will take you along for an hour and you will create a nocturnal landscape together step-by-step. She also teaches you how to create a cool paper cut effect in your illustration. And finally, you finish by applying a texture layer so that it looks as if you made the illustration with real paper.

My name is Annemie Satijn (known on Instagram as @AnnemiekeSatijn) and my biggest hobby is making fun illustrations, patterns and designs for greeting cards, birthday calendars, mugs and other fun promotional gifts. For this I mainly use the Procreate app, but I also think Affinity Designer is a nice app/program to work with. My illustrations are cheerful and rich in texture. I'm a self-taught artist, as they say, and my adventure started a few years ago when my job (I'm a secretary in my day-to-day life) required me to come up with something to enter for 'Serious Request' . I then came into contact with hand lettering and took my first online course for this. That's how I came across Procreate and soon bought an iPad, Apple Pencil and the Procreate app. Since then I've been drawing non-stop and I'm still learning new things every day!

In 2021 I started as a designer at Kaartje2go.nl and you can buy some of my illustrations as a greeting card via their website. This is great fun to do. At the moment I'm also working on a big assignment that makes me a little less active on Instagram at the moment. But soon I will be able to tell you more about this, so ... just a little patience ...

It was a big surprise when Brenda Bakker asked me if I would like to give a workshop as a guest teacher during the KreaDoe next fall. Although I find it very exciting, of course I said “yes”! The preparations for this are already in full swing and you can already register for this.

In the meantime I keep drawing and I am already looking forward to the workshop in November. Will I see you then?

Hi I'm Elsje, a Flemish girl who lives in the Netherlands for almost 18 years, together with my husband Dennis; Murphee and Marlee, our golden retrievers. Many years ago I discovered Procreate and got to know lovely Brenda. We had to figure out just about everything ourselves and experienced many innovations in the program. In recent years I have mainly been involved in analogue watercolor painting. Very different but also very nice. I give most of the workshops with the themes of animals and flowers. But when Brenda asked me to be a guest, my heart skipped a beat. With a lot of love I want to help everyone with digital drawing. Procreate is a versatile program, you can do a lot with it. But what Brenda and I like to do most is drawing and painting, just like on paper.

One of my special guests at the Digital Sign Theater is Sara Lindenhols. She is best known for her fun drawing lessons. Her lessons are structured in such a way that everyone can draw, because under her guidance, it will all be a lot easier for you and in between she gives a bit of positive wisdom. She has come up with a fun lesson especially for this KreaDoe edition and made it digital. This way you learn to draw and work digitally on the iPad in 1 workshop.
